About Larkspur, a Scottsdale Outdoor Living Contractor

Marcus Reyes started Larkspur Outdoor Living & Renovation in 2018, eight years ago this fall. Before that he was a project manager at a large commercial landscaping firm in the Phoenix area, building for hospitals and office parks, people who rarely looked at the finished work once it was done. He wanted to build for someone who would actually use it every day, so he went out on his own.

Larkspur runs two full-time crews, plus a third on larger jobs, and takes on full backyard work: pools, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and fire features, sometimes all on the same property under one contract and one point of contact. Marcus does not take on small patch jobs, a single paver walkway or a one-off planting bed. If that is what you are calling about, he will tell you straight and point you somewhere else.

In eight years, no Larkspur client has had to chase the city or an HOA on their own project. That has always been Marcus's job to carry. He will not cut a corner on drainage, and he will not hand a job to a crew he has not personally walked the plan with first.

The photo below is a licensed stock image showing the kind of finished space Larkspur builds, not a specific Larkspur project. Real project photography is being organized from eight years of Marcus's own work and will replace it here.
